  • Why should I purchase a Watens filter over competitors such as EveryDrop?

We won’t deny that Everydrop has great filters and a fancy reputation. However, with Watens filters, you are guaranteed to have more impurities taken out of your water in comparison. Watens refrigerator filters are certified by NSF Int'l against NSF/ANSI Standards 42 and 53 whereas Everydrop filters are only certified against NSF/ANSI Standards 42. Not only that, you can save a bit of money in the process.

  • Can I use a Watens filter without a refrigerator?

Theoretically, yes. Practically, no. We do not recommend using any water filter other than for its intended use.

  • The water tastes funny. Is the filter working?

It is normal for freshly filtered water to have a bit of an ‘off’ taste to it. Especially if you have never tried filtered water before.

Check and make sure the filter was installed properly

Be sure to flush at least 3 gallons of water through the filter after first installing it.

  • How to change or cancel the order once confirmed?

Before payment, you still have a chance to change or cancel. If you change your mind after the checkout process, contact our support team as soon as possible. We cannot guarantee cancellation after checkout confirmation.

  • How to order?

Search for the filter you want, add it to your cart, and start the checkout process. Before the above operation, please complete your account information and fill in your shipping address. If you run into any problems, contact us for help.

  • What to do when what I receive is not complete with parts missing or is not what I ordered?

Contact our support team immediately! Offer your order ID number which you can find in “My Account”, and we will figure out a way that you are satisfied with, like returning you a new item.  

  • How long will it take to receive my ordered items?

Your items will be shipped out within 1 or 2 days and you will receive an email with your parcel tracking number. We ship anywhere in the continental US. However, we may require extra shipping charges to Alaska and Hawaii.

  • Are parcels covered by transit insurance?

Yes, Watens will cover transit insurance for all parcels! If you still have any questions, don’t hesitate to contact us for support.

  • My order is missing parts or is it not what I ordered?

Contact our support team immediately! Offer your order ID number which you can find in “My Account.” We will determine the best solution for fixing this issue.

  • What is the warranty on the filters?

Please refer to our Warranty Page.

  • I changed my mind and I want to return my purchase. I purchased the wrong filter model. What can I do?

Change of Mind: No problem, everyone is guilty of cold feet every now and then. As long as it is within 30 days from shipment, you can go to the Contact Us page and submit your return request from the drop-down menu. There is a 10% restocking fee for returns within 30 days of delivery.

 

Incompatible Model: If you’ve found you ordered the wrong model of filter, contact our support team as soon as possible so we can help.

  • The item was damaged upon delivery. What do I do?

Don’t worry. We always strive to protect every customer’s interests. Contact our support team as soon as you find the product delivered to you is defective or damaged.

  • How often should I change my filter?

It is highly suggested to replace your Watens filter every 6 months or 200 gallons. If you know your water tends to be harder, you should increase the frequency of replacements.

  • How do Watens filters remove contaminants?

Other than being awesome? Well, all of our filters use an activated coconut shell carbon filtration system that utilizes microporous technology to filter out most impurities by up to 99%!

In simple terms, the unfiltered water goes in and the clean, pure Watens filtered water flows out - leaving you with only the best.

  • Do I need a filter?

I don’t know, do you?

  • Can I use the filter beyond 6 months?

Absolutely! However, this is with 120% certainty, NOT recommended. Using a filter, of any brand, beyond the recommended lifetime of 6 months can cause a diminished ability to properly filter your water. So, you might as well just be sticking your head in the sink to guzzle some straight tap water. Hold the rocks.
